The Accommodation and Gallery
Seahouse Cottage sits on the most northerly edge of the Northumberland Coastlines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ( AONB). From the sitting room and master bedroom there are spectacular uninterrupted views of the Northumbrian coastline, including the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle.
Two Bedroomed Cottage
The master bedroom is very spacious, with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and full length mirror. Views are south of Cocklawburn Beach.
The second bedroom is smaller with 2 single beds.
All Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels and power is included, and a cot and high chair are available on request.
Kitchen with Aga
On the ground floor there is a fitted kitchen with an electric Aga. There is a separate electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. There is also a pantry/store room for any outdoor kit.
Dining Room
There is a separate dining room with seating for 6 and a cosy open fire. Heating is by night store heaters.
Sitting Room
The sitting room has a large wood burning stove in an Inglenook fireplace. Views are to the beaches south. There is a TV with Freeview, DVD player, i pod docking speakers and a CD player/radio.
Bathroom
The bathroom is on the first floor with a toilet, basin and over-the-bath electric shower.
Well behaved dogs are welcome with prior arrangement.
Extra people can be accommodated with a sofa bed in the sitting room, on an occasional basis.

Outside Space
Externally there is allocated parking and a small private walled yard to the rear of the cottage which is perfect for barbecues in the summer. To the north of the property are small beaches and coves, which are virtually unvisited except by the family and guests with more extensive sandy beaches from Cocklawburn to Holy Island to the south approximately 5 minutes walk away.
